Bessaker is known for its excellent fishing and beautiful surroundings with accompanying nature. This maritime spot is located directly on the northern part of the Fosen peninsula, just a 2 hours drive from Norway's fourth largest city, Trondheim. Here you will be a real guest and you will be perfectly taken care of. You will find all kinds of fish here. Cod, coalfish, wolffish, ling, tusk, halibut and so on. There is a very diverse and large fishing area available that leaves nothing to be desired;
The fishing camp is sheltered from the wind behind the larger islands Børøya and Sarøya and there are also numerous smaller islands that contribute to the sheltered fishing. For this location there is always a place to be found in unexpectedly poor weather conditions. Next to that, the fishing camp is a very short distance from the open sea with its rich fishing grounds and overwhelming underwater structures.
In addition to the location for fishing, the local nature is also fascinating. Just a short drive away you have a good chance to see elk, deer, badgers, foxes, ospreys and more species in the mountains and forests. It is also possible to fish for strong and wild trout on the local lakes. So do not forget to bring your spinning rod. For salmon fishing lovers it is also possible to fish at 20 and 45 km distance in the Steindalselva, Nordalselva or Stordalselva. A permit is available on the spot. So for lovers of this fishery, a medium spinning rod of 50 to 80 grams is also an important part of the equipment.
There are several possibilities to stay here. But be quick because this location is very popular. It is recommended that you book your fishing holiday at this location at least (half) a year in advance.
