Boat & Equipment

The boats at Brasoy Sjofiske are selected for anglers who want the option of fishing both sheltered waters and the open sea. The fleet includes Kvaerno 630 boats and a Kvaerno 630 hardtop, all with powerful engines, modern electronics and Safetracker. This makes the fleet a good match for the location: safe, practical and designed for serious fishing along the Helgeland coast.

Kvaerno 630 - 20.5 ft / 100 hp

Brasoy Sjofiske boats 5 and 6 are Kvaerno 630 aluminium boats measuring 20.5 ft and powered by 100 hp Yamaha outboards. These stable and spacious boats are set up for a maximum of 4 people. Equipment includes electric start, four-stroke engines, Garmin fishfinder, Garmin GPSMAP 122 chartplotter/GPS, rod holders, steering console and Safetracker.
For anglers, these are solid fishing platforms with ample power and a practical layout. The 20.5 ft hull provides stability and deck space, while the electronics make it easier to locate drop-offs, plateaus and depth contours accurately. They are ideal for groups that want to fish seriously without compromising on comfort or safety.

Kvaerno 630 hardtop - 20.5 ft / 130 hp

Boat 7 is a Kvaerno 630 hardtop measuring 20.5 ft and powered by a 130 hp Yamaha outboard. The hardtop offers extra shelter and comfort, particularly on longer days or in changeable weather. The boat accommodates up to 4 people and is equipped with Garmin fishfinder, Garmin GPSMAP 122, chartplotter, rod holders, steering console and Safetracker.
The combination of additional engine power and hardtop protection makes this boat especially attractive for anglers who want greater range when conditions allow. At the same time, the four-person maximum keeps the deck manageable, with enough working space while fighting and landing fish or moving between marks.

Practical fishing equipment

Safetracker is an important safety feature on the listed boats. Combined with the chartplotter and GPS, it provides additional reassurance when navigating a coastal area with islands, channels and rapidly changing conditions. For the fishing itself, the fishfinder and chartplotter are essential tools for locating bottom structure, baitfish and depth changes accurately.
The boats are moored at a floating pier approximately 50 metres from the accommodation. The filleting facilities are covered and equipped with lighting and running water. This keeps the routine after fishing simple: moor the boat, process the catch, clean the equipment and finish the day without long walks or improvised facilities.

The fleet is an excellent fit for Brasoy Sjofiske because the destination calls for reliable, seaworthy and practical sport-fishing boats. For a mix of sheltered archipelago fishing, open sea and short runs to the fishing grounds, the Kvaerno boats are a logical choice.
