PIONEERING TRIP 2024 ITINERARY

DAY 1. FLIGHT, SEPTEMBER 8
Flight from Frankfurt directly to Ulaanbataar with Mongolian airlines

DAY 2. ARRIVAL, SEPTEMBER 9
We will pick you from the international airport of UB at around 5.30 A.M and transferred to Best Western Hotel. After having settled in your hotel room, we will visit to the Gandan Monastery and drive to the Chingis Khan's equestrian statue at the Tsonjin Boldog and will have a lunch. Early afternoon, you can have time to shop the “Gobi” cashmere factory store and in the evening, before your dinner you'll enjoy traditional folk music and dance performance. Accommodation: Hotel. Meals: L

DAY 3. ERDENET CITY, SEPTEMBER 10
After having a breakfast at your hotel, not very early morning, we will leave UB and drive to Erdenet city. On the way, we’ll have a lunch at Darkhan city and arrive in Erdenet late afternoon. Settled in a hotel and have a little free time and enjoy a local dinner. Accommodation: Hotel. Meals: B, L, D

DAY 4. STONE RIDGE PRIVATE LODGE, SEPTEMBER 11
After early breakfast, we start our journey with a 300 km, drive to the Stone Ridge Private Lodge. We will have a local lunch on the way. However, the road is smoothly  aved, for some distance (approx 50 km) we’ll drive on countryside roads arriving at the lodge in the early afternoon. You will have a rest and tea break and before dinner  you can go fish in the surroundings of the lodge. Accommodation: Stone Ridge Private Lodge.

DAY 5. STONE RIDGE PRIVATE LODGE, SEPTEMBER 12
This morning, the lodge staff will wake you up about 1 hour before sunrise. Breakfast and coffee will be served in the dining room. You will leave to go fishing after  reakfast. A lunch bag is provided on the boat. You will arrive back to the lodge no later than 3:00 PM. Take some rest and dinner is served at 7:30 pm. If you have energy to fishing we’ll guide you for evening session near the lodge. Accommodation: Stone Ridge Private lodge. Meals: B,L,D

DAY 6. CAMPING IN WILDERNESS, SEPTEMBER 13
After breakfast, we will float up to the river and to fish Eg and Tavt Rivers confluence and it is a camping day therefore this day at night we’ll camp and sleep at remote  site along the river corridor, we'll guide and you will fish at the Eg River and enjoy the wonderful Mongolian wilderness on our guided taimen fishing  days. Accommodation: Tent camping in wilderness. Meals: B,L,D

DAY 7. STONE RIDGE PRIVATE LODGE, SEPTEMBER 14
Start your day with a joyful breakfast and we will fish a number of spots along the river, where we will float back to the lodge. While you fishing, being awestruck by the  beautiful nature and enjoy an evening of dining in your lodge and retire for the night. Accommodation: Stone Ridge Private lodge. Meals: B,L,D

DAY 8. CAMPING IN WILDERNESS, SEPTEMBER 15
This morning, we’ll float down to the river and to fish Eg and Tarvagtai Rivers confluence and it is again a camping day therefore this day at night we’ll camp and sleep at remote site along the river corridor, we'll guide and you will fish at the confluence. Enjoy the sights and sounds of this unique river and get some well deserved rest after 
a long day fishing. Accommodation: Tent camping in wilderness. Meals: B,L,D

DAY 9. STONE RIDGE PRIVATE LODGE, SEPTEMBER 16
After breakfast, we’ll float up to the river and to fish Eg River and its confluence while you reach out to the lodge. After exploring, fishing in straight 6 days with us and being awestruck by the beautiful nature, enjoy an evening of dining at the  lodge and retire for the night. Accommodation: Stone Ridge Private lodge. Meals: B,L,D

DAY 10. ULAANBATAAR CITY, SEPTEMBER 17 Early breakfast and long travel back to UB to the Best Western hotel.

DAY 11. DEPARTURE, SEPTEMBER 18 After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
