Ideal for a week in the winter sun or a long weekend with the 'fish buddies'.
Fishing here focuses mainly on trolling and live bait fishing at the drop offs, reefs and other underwater structures. In addition, there is targeted fishing for dorado, barracuda etc. This is the real work for serious fishing that will bend your rod to the last inch and test you and your equipment. Are you ready for it?
Tuna, wahoo, barracuda, amberjack, sailfish, marlin, tuna, dorado, groupers.... All fish that reach from 20 to 30, 40 and sometimes even 50 kilos. Sailfish are caught here quite regularly as well so there is enough variety. You can vary as much as you want with light equipment on dorado, jigging on tuna and amberjacks or trolling for sailfish!
For the time being it is not possible to fish around and near the oil tankers. When this will change is not yet clear as the oil business is not at its best currently. Active spinning on mahi mahi and tuna is there for more challenging and the fishing currently focuses mostly on trolling and bottom fishing / jigging.
