There are several accommodation options with 4 persons or a 6 persons villa. The houses are all within walking distance of the sea and there is a communal swimming pool and private beach to relax after fishing. The houses are neat, tidy and have more than enough comfort. The rooms are provided with ventilation and also the bed linen, towels and final cleaning is included.

You can choose between several apartments.

Casa Djarmai is our best recommendation. There are three two-person apartments here with a living room with kitchen studio and refrigerator, an outdoor terrace for evening relaxation and a separate dopuche with toilet. The separate bedrooms have a double bed. There is also a 4 person apartment here with a spacious living room, two showers with toilet, and two bedrooms each with a double bed. There is also a beautiful and spacious terrace for the early or late hours. All apartments include wifi as well as water, electricity, bed linen and towels.

Villa Luxe: This luxury holiday home is located right by the pool of the complex and overlooks the sea. There are 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed. The house is finished in high comfort with an open kitchen and refrigerator with ice machine. This is the best home available on the island with stunning sea views from the terrace with garden table and chairs. It also features airconditioning. The house has a max capacity of 6 people.

Villa bifamilaire: max 4 persons. This villa has 2 bedrooms, 1 room with a large double bed and a bedroom with two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and equipped with all daily necessities. There is a private bathroom with shower and toilet and a private garden with a dining table and bench. You can also use the large swimming pool by the sea. Electricity, gas, water and final cleaning are included in the price.

Villa Cristophe: max 5 persons This villa has 2 double rooms and an extra one can be added if a 5 th man is present. The kitchen is also fully equipped with stove, oven, kettle, fridge with freezer etc. The house is 20 meters next to the fishing guide, so it is also possible to get breakfast service in this house: with coffee, tea, fresh bread hard and soft, some pieces of fruit, soft drinks, boiled or fried eggs, every morning the table is set and breakfast prepared. The costs are 8,50 euro per person per day. The house is located in a quiet area, has hot and cold running water and because you are staying next to the fishing guide you can quickly get answers to any questions and after consultation also use the car for groceries.

Villa 10: max 4 persons. This 4 persons villa has 2 bedrooms, 1 room with a double bed and 1 room with two single beds. The kitchen is equipped with the daily necessities including a luxury coffee machine. It also has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. A private garden with dining table and 2 sunbeds. Villa 10 has sea views and is one of the luxury cottages we can offer you. Water, gas, electricity and final cleaning are included in the price and there is also Wi-Fi available in this villa. You step out of your backyard to stand directly at the large swimming pool which is equipped with plenty of sun beds. This villa is situated in a nice and quiet location. The house is within walking distance of the sea.

As a fishing boat, the 40-foot Dimeu with 2 x 400 hp diesel engines is used here. The boat is equipped with the necessary safety equipment and fitted with gps and latest generation Lowrance fishfinders.There is also a combat seat and a cabin. The boat can accommodate up to 6 people. If the group exceeds 6 persons, we can arrange an extra boat.

Naturally, the boat is equipped with all the necessary angling equipment. There is a large arsenal of 20 to 130 lbs of equipment with the necessary lures and other lures. We use high-quality materials from well-known brands such as Shimano and Penn.

But also for shore fishing all the necessary materials are available. Self-designed rods are available to cast heavy bait as well as shorter ones when fishing from the beach. Every spot here is different and requires different material and Michael will be happy to help you.

The location is run by Michael and he is a Dutchman. He is the absolute fish freak that you would like to have on every location as a guide. He loves fishing and he knows all the fishing spots on the island like the back of his hand.

To get around on the island it is possible to rent a car or a quad bike. There is a white Toyota Pick up available for up to 5 people or a Yamaha Grizzly 4 x 4 Quad for or 2 people. Super fun and both perfect and well maintained.

On site there is a restaurant of the Maio Fishing Club. Every morning an extensive breakfast with fresh juice, bread, coffee, etc. is served here. For this you will be picked up from your stay and after breakfast you go directly to the fishing spot of that day. If on shore lunch is also served here. In the evening you will enjoy a private dinner with local dishes specially and freshly prepared for you. These costs are automatically included in the quotation.

Initially you will fly to the island of Santiago with the capital Praia. There you will spend the night and the next day you take the local plane to Maio on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. Since the flight times change from time to time (after all, it remains Africa) this is the best option. On Praia we of course arrange a hotel to stay the night.

As this fishing trip is entirely composed according to your wishes, indicative prices are difficult. But assuming 3 days / nights of shore fishing and 3 days of boat fishing, including all meals, guide, fuel for the boats and first night in Praia in a double room including breakfast, the indicative price is € 1.300,- per person for a group of 4 anglers. Please note! This is a indicative price and is subject to availability of boats and flight tickets, choice of boat and period from booking to the actual trip. The costs for the flights are extra.
