Farsund Resort is an absolute highlight in the south of Norway. This fishing camp offers an exceptionally high standard with perfect spacious fishing boats that come with diesel included. So there are no additional costs for fuel. At only a 1.5 hours drive from Kristiansand this high quality location is hidden and very sheltered in a beautiful bay. The open sea is half an hour's drive away and in the meantime there are many spots where you can fish perfectly and undisturbed. So even in lesser weather conditions you can always come here.

This location offers a large amount of species of fish. A total of 56 species have been caught here so far. In the fjord right in front of your door is mackerel, pollack and sea trout. Further on, several sandbanks where plaice, dab and turbot are caught. Between the different islands are many opportunities for fishing, but also consider the deeper parts towards the open sea with cod, ling, hake and sea wolf. There are also several smaller shark species, wrasse etc. Because of the protected location it is also possible to fish in the early and late season.

Casting towards the many islands you will catch beautiful pollack and coalfish with a medium spinning rod. On the way to and from the location out of the fjord it is definitely worth trolling on sea trout with a small spoon or crankbait. In the deeper regions cod are caught with pilks, shads and gummi maks and the ling and tusk can be caught with a mackerel flapper at depths around 100 meters. A very varied fishery that makes it possible to fish in a different way every day.
