Bonaire

To stay here we work together with Oceanbreeze, B&B Bonaire and Oasis Apartments. This makes it possible to offer different levels and corresponding budgets.

Oceanbreeze

This resort has no less than 16 studios, 30 apartments and 7 luxury villas to choose from. In addition, the rental boat can be moored directly next to or at the property's own jetty. The various homes have a high level of finishing and radiate a real tropical atmosphere. This is what a holiday home in the Caribbean should look like. Very tasteful, comfortable and for a fair price they are also equipped with air conditioning. The homes are available for 2, 4, 6 and 8 persons.

There are different types of apartments:

Studio apartments with 1 bathroom (2 persons)

• 1 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom (2 persons)
• 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom and an open mezzanine (4 persons)
• 2 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom and separate bedroom upstairs (4 persons)

All apartments have: 1: - a spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom. - a bathroom with a walk-in shower, a large sink and a separate toilet and bidet. - a spacious kitchen with a modern and stylishly decorated layout, equipped with all necessary appliances and conveniences: - a large fridge-freezer, combination oven, ceramic hob, extractor and dishwasher. - a spacious living room with a comfortable couch (sofa bed on request), coffee table and flat screen TV. - air conditioning is available throughout the apartment and the floors are made of natural stone. From the sitting area is the shielded sun terrace accessible through sliding doors. You overlook the shared jetty and the beautiful lagoon, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet and/or the setting sun. You are free to use the communal swimming pool and all apartments have their own parking space.

Oceanbreeze offers comfort as comfort is meant to be. Delicious luxury and quality stays. The local supermarket here is called “van den Tweel” and has an excellent choice of products. The average price level on Bonaire is 15% higher than in Europe. On this island all the ingredients are present to enjoy your holiday in a wonderful mix of a tropical style with good weather conditions. Oasis Guesthouse

The Oasis Guesthouse is easily accessible and offers space for fishermen with a smaller budget. It has two superior rooms, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor. These rooms have a floor area between 20 and 35 square meters. In addition, there is 1 family room located on the first floor consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 large bathroom. Enough space for comfortable sleeping and ideal for a family or two couples. Finally, the Guesthouse has three standard rooms (Queen rooms), all on the ground floor, one at the front and two at the back (swimming pool). These rooms have a floor area between about 12 and 16 square meters.

All rooms have the following facilities: - Queen size bed - Dresser - Bedside table and bedside lamp with each bed - Electronic safe - Wardrobe with sliding doors - Bathroom - Flat screen LCD 32" television - Air conditioning - Wireless high-speed internet WIFI - Shower with hot water - Minibar (can be filled for you on request) - Towels and bath towels - Daily cleaning from Monday to Friday


Bed & Breakfast Bonaire

B&B Bonaire is a Bed & Breakfast on Bonaire with six different apartments and / or studios where you can stay. This is also a good option for a lower budget.

The Basic Studio (14 m²) is a smaller room for one or two persons, but with all the facilities you need. Located in the tropical garden and mostly booked by guests who are on the road a lot.
The Standard Apartment (20 m²) is suitable for one or two persons and has a sitting area in the room, next to the standard facilities. Here you will find a little more space for those who want to sit outside.
A lovely spacious apartment (30 m²) with a large terrace for one or two persons, and an extra bed for a third person can be added. This apartment is mainly booked for longer stays.

The largest apartment has a spacious balcony with a beautiful view of the sea and Klein Bonaire! The apartment is suitable for one, two or three persons (extra bed) and has an outdoor kitchenette and hammocks where you can relax. Furthermore, this apartment has its own entrance, where you have to climb two stairs, but what it's so worth. The spacious balcony, the hammocks outside and the view make this small climb even better!

All rooms have the following facilities: - Kitchen ( 2 pits) with pans and cutlery - Coffee- and tea making facilities - Refrigerator with freezing compartment(s) - Air conditioning - Shower with hot water, sink and toilet - Mosquito net above the bed - Spacious terrace or balcony - WiFi - Fine beds - Towels and bedlinen - Clean towels every 4 nights - final cleaning

All equipment is available for fishing from the boat. Here the material from light to medium is abundantly present and you do not have to take anything with you. Also if you want to actively look for bonefish with Peter, he has the necessary materials available.

There are two boats available. Both are center consoles and built ruggedly for demanding offshore fishing conditions with a sharp keel to provide a smooth ride.

The Fishfull Thinking is a 27ft Sailfish CC. She is heavily modified to get the most out of a day on the water. Twin 200hp suzuki’s make her the fastest charterboat on the island.
The Mellow Yellow is a 24ft McKee Freedom. This boat has seen similar modifications as well. Twin 175hp suzuki’s make her the second fastest charterboat on the island.

Both boats have the next features:

• A roof to provide cover from the sun
• Coaming bolsters for your comfort
• Ample dry storage

For other fishing you need to bring your own material. For spin fishing jigs, shads / paddle tails, pilks, lures, spoons, wobblers are the appropriate "terminal tackle". The weight class of the material ranges from 10 to 30 lbs. But also lighter rods from 20 to 50 grams and 50 to 100 grams casting weight for catching snook in the mangroves, in the setting sun, is a nice bonus. For the bonefish a 10 gram rod is the right material.

The season runs throughout the entire year here. The sea temperature varies only slightly throughout the year. For the most important predatory fish such as wahoo, barracuda, amberjack, sailfish, dorado and yellowfin tuna, November to April is the better period. Ideal to escape the winter weather here and enjoy the average temperature of 27 degrees Celsius. The air temperatures are also very stable so you have a great place to enjoy your holiday and go fishing.

Due to the low humidity and the location directly by the sea, however, it is a good place to be in this tropical location. However, it is important to take the right precautions against the sun. So cap, suntan, and sunglasses are no unnecessary luxury. Rainy days are a relatively unknown phenomenon here.

On arrival we can arrange a rental car for you so you can go wherever you want on this beautiful island. It's definitely worthwhile to visit the island's lake in addition to fishing. For example, you can also go snorkelling with manta rays and there are many possibilities for water sports like kitesurfing, jet skiing, paragliding, diving, etc.

But also the ladies can go shopping and walking in the cosy Kralendijk. The starting price for this trip with a group of 3 participants in an apartment with two bedrooms for 7 nights with 3 persons, rental car during the week, 3 days with a fishing boat is available from € 1,995, - per person in low season. This is excluding flights. Of course you can arrange your program based on your own preference. Additional costs are flight, tips for the captain / deck hand, own transport and fuel for the rental car.
