Here in Saltstraumen, we have a number of beautiful holiday homes at our disposal, all of which are close to the beautiful seawater and also to our boats!  The houses are all equipped with free wireless internet and offer a lot of comfort. The kitchens are fully equipped with coffee maker, cooker, kettle, dishwasher, fridge, plates, cutlery etc.  There is also a freezer for fish with every apartment as well as a dry room and a flleting area with running water. 

The properties reserved by us are:

• 3 new apartments for 4 people; 50m2. 2 bedrooms each with two single beds, living room, kitchen and shower/toilet combo.
• 3 large, new apartments, with sea view, for max 8 people; 100m2. 4 bedrooms each with two single beds, living room and shower/toilet combination, kitchen

The apartments are comfortable and meet all the modern requirements of the fishing woman. For the enthusiast, it is also possible to use 1 of the private saunas overlooking the Saltstraumen after a day of fishing at an additional cost. 

The local supermarket is 10 to 15 minutes' walk away and offers a wide selection. Here you can find everything you need for a week of fishing. At the same time, during the transfer from the airport to the location, the bus also stops at the supermarket once already so you can immediately do your shopping for the first 2 or 3 days.

In terms of boats, we use 20-foot aluminium boats with 80 HP engines. All boats are equipped with fishfinder and GPS plotter, sea chart, paddles, life jackets and 10 rod holders. Refuelling for the boats takes place at the fishing camp itself and is easily settled by credit card or pin after the fishing trip.

These boats offer a high degree of cruising comfort and the 80 HP engine provides enough power to get to the desired fishing spots quickly and comfortably. Fishing is carried out with a maximum of 4 people per boat. The boats are moored directly at one of the three jetties in front of the fishing camp at a maximum walk of 150 metres.

A 20/30 lbs boat rod is required for this trip. If you do not have one, there is still no problem! You can rent a complete set locally. In addition to the boat rod, a lighter rod up to 150 grams casting weight is also desirable for lighter fishing. 

Terminal tackle such as pilkers, shads, leaders, etc. are to be provided by the participant. We will discuss this in detail during the central online meeting so that you are fully informed of all necessities.

We will have to arrive at Bodo at approx 17 or 18.00 hours in order to join the group for the transfer to Saltstraumen Brygget on Tuesday 17 September 2024. We can alos arrange your flights oiff course where we usually arrange 2 x 23 kilos of luggage and 8 kilos of hand luggage. Flight costs are additional and the earlier you book your flights, the cheaper they are!

In Bodo, the bus is waiting for us and, after a 30-minute drive through the impressive surroundings, we make a firsts top at the local supermarket in order to get some first groceries and after that we are dropped at our beautiful location in Saltstraumen. We stay at this perfect and cosy complex for a week and you fish for 6 full days with a maximum of 4 anglers per boat. To do our necessary shopping, the supermarket with a fine selection is available within walking distance (about 10 minutes). At the end of this trip, all participants will receive a photo book as a personal souvenir of this amazing and above all special adventure!

The cost of this trip is € 1075,- per person, excluding flight and travel guarantee of € 9,- pp.

Additional costs are fuel for the boat, personal care and drinks during the farewell dinner. You can register individually, per couple or more persons.

Off course Naturally, there are also great prizes to be won for the most beautiful and for the biggest fish! We will end the fishing week in style with a delicious final dinner. On Tuesday 24 September 2024, we will return to our homes with a backpack full of unforgettable memories. This first international edition of the Women Only Week promises to be an enjoyable and beautiful fishing trip with participants from several countries.
